Minato Manga’s Ascent and Near Miss 

The Minato one-shot manga, penned by none other than Masashi Kishimoto, creator of Naruto, made its debut on July 17. This release was in celebration of the anime’s 20th anniversary, honoring the character Minato Namikaze’s immense popularity, as voted by fans worldwide in the Narutop100 poll.

Oshi no Ko Maintains Its Position 

Although the Minato one-shot manga garnered significant attention with a total of 484,880 views, it narrowly missed breaking into the top three for the week. Oshi no Ko, crafted by Aka Akasaka, secured the second position with an impressive view count of 639,110, proving its enduring appeal among readers. The top two spots were claimed by Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Chainsaw Man and Eiichiro Oda’s ever-popular One Piece, boasting view counts of 849,361 and 671,626, respectively.

Minato Outshines Jujutsu Kaisen, My Hero Academia, and Black Clover: While Minato couldn’t clinch the top position, it did surpass several other notable manga series. Notably, it triumphed over Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen, Kohei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia, and Yuki Tabata’s Black Clover, proving its widespread appeal and popularity among manga enthusiasts. Jujutsu Kaisen accumulated a view count of 461,223, while My Hero Academia and Black Clover secured 454,167 and 350,982 views, respectively.

The Minato one-shot manga delves into the time when Kushina Uzumaki served as the Jinchuriki of the Nine-Tailed Beast. Minato, determined to protect her, was simultaneously working on a jutsu. However, Kushina’s desire for more time with him led her to escape from her confinement in the Hidden Leaf Village. During their meeting, Kurama, the Nine-Tailed Beast, seized control of Kushina, setting the stage for a tense confrontation. Nevertheless, Minato’s unwavering resolve and skillful techniques prevailed, successfully resealing the beast within Kushina.
