Armored Core 6 first impression: Optimistic approach, saga of fighting and more
The new Armored Core is revealed in a new gameplay trailer that shows off exploration, combat, and mech customization. With a couple of months to go before the premiere of Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon (it launches on August 25 ), FromSoftware and Bandai Namco have published a new gameplay trailer in which we can see almost a few minutes of gameplay of this long-awaited new season of the saga of fighting with wicks.
The video that you can see under these lines gives an extensive review of the gameplay of the new Armored Core, from its exploration systems and interactions with the environment (there is a nod to the opening of double doors, a brand of the house, although the studio ensures that it will not resemble his latest project ) until the combat mechanics, mech customization and fights against final bosses.
Our impressions of Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon
“Armored Core 6 probably won’t reach the mainstream success of Souls”. We wrote in our impressions after seeing the game in a presentation with gameplay: “But everything points to any FromSoftware fan who doesn’t mind the change of setting and the peculiarities playable of this, you will enjoy like a dwarf the new work of the Japanese studio.
But those who are going to enjoy it the most are all those who wanted to get out of their comfort zone, who after so many years perfecting a playable formula dared to experiment, even if it is going back to their roots. Of course, keeping his stamp: the tense experiences that are not just about dying over and over again, but about creating our own story, our own hero’s journey, by overcoming his challenges.”
Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC on August 25.
