BGIS 2023 Qualifiers Results And Standing: Global Esports And Team GodLike Knocked Out From The Tournament

1 years ago By AI Smith

Global Esports and Team GodLike are most likely out of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 quarterfinals. They were unable to advance to the following round of the online qualifiers due to their inconsistent performances in Round 3. The third round of the tournament, which involved six games for each side, placed side Godlike in Group 2. The team’s adventure, which had been started with high hopes and aspirations, abruptly came to an end in Round 3, surprising both players and spectators.

BGIS 2023 Qualifiers: Global Esports and Team Godlike in Round 3

The star-studded team secured a 26 point chicken meal in their opening game to kick off their Round 3 campaign. A well-known teammate named Jonathan “Jonathan” Amaral scooped up five eliminations and displayed superb play in this match

However, the team made a small mistake in the second game, and CS Esports eliminated them with nil points. The remaining two players, Jonathan and Abhishek “Zgod” Choudhary, helped Team GodLike score 16 points in the third game despite losing Suraj “Neyoo” Majumdar and Rudra “Spower”. At the end of Day 1, they had 42 points, placing them second overall.

The second day of the BGIS Round 3 got off to a rough start for GodLike Esports as it erred on the map of Vikendi and only earned one point in its fourth game. In their penultimate clash, the crew was able to defeat 1M Officials early on, although they did not survive for long and only scored five points.

GodLike Esports only earned four points in its final and most crucial game, falling short of the performance that was desperately needed. 1M Officials defeated Team GodLike in this conflict.

On the other hand, Global Esports was also dropped from BGIS 2023. The team’s final score and standing have not yet been made public, but it has been made known that they have been disqualified from the competition.

Fans were shocked to see that Global Esports has been disqualified from this competition after dominating the just finished Battleground Mobile India Masters Series (BGMS) 2023 Season 2. It finished fourth in this competition and won over everyone with its combative gameplay.

The top four teams from each group in Round 3 will advance to the BGIS Quarterfinals, which has 64 seats available. The teams ranked 60th through 80th overall in the online qualifiers’ total points table will make up the losers bracket. With a group ranking of 7, Team Godlike was unable to proceed past the Round of 16, and with only 52 points, its chances of making it to the losers bracket are similarly limited.

The highly anticipated Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 has now been officially announced by Krafton after much expectation and enthusiasm from the gaming community. Many players and supporters who have been waiting impatiently for the reintroduction of official tournaments in well-known mobile game are delighted by this announcement. It has a prize pool of Rs. 2 Crore and the grand finale will be hosted in the second week of August.
